Stupid foyer music. I got tired of listening to MJ on repeat, so i changed the settings on the work ipod without looking. 5 minutes later, Rick Astley is blaring through the foyer.

The city of Melbourne isn't doing Salsa at their concerts in the part this year. Other types of dance, swing, even waltz, are there... but no Salsa.

In a nutshell, there was this boy named Ezra Chatterton, who, for his Make-A-Wish foundation wish, got to go to Blizzard's offices, hang out with the developers, design a quest, etc. He passed away on October 20th. Ezra's character, Ephoenix was a hunter, and he was a fan of a blogger/podcaster who goes by the name of BRK - Big Red Kitty. In his honor, today, BRK made the above post on wowinsider.com, urging that we do a running of the bulls in his honor, where everyone who read it, would make a level 1 tauren, and join in a raid on Stormwind on the Argent Dawn server.

End result

We killed the server. Not just Argent Dawn apparently, but the Authentication servers went down, and all the other servers had lag issues. I never even got on to Argent Dawn, because i was waiting in the 900+ queue. Apparently they had 897 level one taurens in their Baby Tauren Army plus 55 level 70s to make the raid viable. The alliance had like 300+ people waiting in Stormwind.

Apparently GMs were whispering people to call it off while the army was moving towards Ratchet.

The server wobbled, and collapsed.

So umm... yeah. Apparently there's a limit to the size of a gathering you can have in one location in WoW.

4 Weeks now, I haven't been able to run a dnd 4e game on Friday night. The people I have at the moment have schedules that are inconsistent at best.

So, in the interest of my need to actually GM SOMETHING. I'm looking for players. Anyone interested?

Standard location on offer atm is the lounge at RMIT where the SFGA meets every Friday.

Quite possibly, I might start running Living Forgotten Realms as the game, as it looks to be shaping up quite well.

Limited to 5 attacks now.

New updates on DnDinsider for 4e.

Also, they fixed skill challenges. Now the Complexity increase *does* make a challenge harder instead of easier. You always lose if you fail 3 times instead of an increasing number of times.

So... I was feeling nostalgic, and missing all these oldschool games that I played way back when I got my first computer....
